Our little home
Shahenshah Indian Restaurant is a family run business, after emigrating from Bangladesh 1981, we've made Hertford home away from home.
We enjoy a strong connection with the local community, everyone knows us here and we feel very much part of Hertford.
Since the launch of Shahenshah Restaurant, In 1988, we've gone from strength to strength with the support from our loyal customers. They demand the best, we deliver the best. Hence why we called the restaurant Shahenshah, "King of Kings".

The stars of the show
Head chef, Aslam Miah has has been with us since the beginning and is still extremely proud and passionate about the food he makes. He was the first Indian chef to arrive in Hertford in the 80's.
Our aim has always been quality, Shahenshah welcomes everyone, it's food fit for a king.

We specialize in high quality Indian & Bangladeshi cuisine. We place more emphasis on quality rather than speed, as we are very passionate about our food. We believe if a customer has tasted our food once, we can almost guarantee they'll be back again for more.
